A.W.A.R.E. Month with Kevin Kunze
Kevin Kunze, a filmmaker is currently working on his film, Disconnect, a documentary on the negative health effects of cell phone usage. Kevin will be interviewing doctors, scientists, and activists to further explore the world of cell phone radiation. His mission will be to also uncover the risks associated with cell phone radiation, along with ways to reduce these risks. Kevin has also conducted an interview with YUBZ which might be featured in the documentary. Be on the lookout for the film Disconnect by Kevin Kunze, and a potential feature of the YUBZ Retro Handset we've all come to love using. November is A.W.A.R.E. Month, we at YUBZ encourage all our users to reach out to those who are yet to understand the effects of cellphone radiation and ways to reduce these risks.

Samsung Going for a Piece of Apple's Pie
Let the tablet competition begin!! The iPhone set the standard for smart phones, and cell phone companies have done their best to imamate it, and now the iPad has created a similar splash in the technology world. Tech savvy consumers knew it would only be a matter of time until competitors started popping up on the tablet scene, but much like the early touch phones that tried to emulate the iPhone’s swagger, they came and went before anyone noticed. After a few years of Apple raking in the cash with little competition Google finally caught up when it released the Android OS. With the release of the Galaxy Tab Samsung is looking set a new standard for tablets. Priced at $399 for the 16GB model (or $499 for 32GB), it includes Android HoneycomTb 3.2, and a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, a substantial jump up from the single 1GHz processor in the original Galaxy Tab. Android is the new Windows for operating systems on mobile phones and Apple is well.. still Apple, smaller market but high prices with high quality equal high profits. Whether the Galaxy Tab will run Android’s latest OS system “Ice Cream Sandwich” operating system (see previous posts for more on Ice Cream Sandwhich) remains unknown but what is known is that this high quality piece of technology is going for a piece of Apple’s pie in the tablet industry, but are you hungry for it?

Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween to all! The beauty of this day can be seen with younger children who dress up like their favorite super hero, etc. Never mind the bag full of candy one receives whilst "trick or treating", Halloween is an opportunity for everyone, young and old to be someone...or something else. Perhaps you'll be a fire fighter or a boxer, or maybe a celebrity. Whichever costume you choose, this is the one day anyone can create the persona they live vicariously through during the other 11months of the year. YUBZ understands the need to change up your style and opt for something more creative, hence why we produced our Retro Handsets. Available in different colors, and designs, our handsets are sure to compliment any costume on this day. So before you head out to your Halloween festivities with the kids....or with your friends, make sure you have the following:
1. Costume
2. Bag for candy
3. YUBZ Retro Handset- fights off 96% of evil cell phone radiation
