Hey Cell Phones!!... Leave those kids alone!

Scientists are calling into question a study published last year that failed to find a link between cell phone use and brain tumors in children and teens. They say the study actually shows that cell phone use more than doubles the risk of brain tumors in children and adolescents.

The concerns over kids being at a higher rate for brain tumers due to cell phone use is growing thanks to the Environmental Health Trust, a group whose stated mission is to promote awareness of environmental issues they believe are linked to cancer.

Concerns over risks to children are particularly heightened, considering the rising use of cell phones among kids and teens and the fear that children's developing brains might be more susceptible to the effects of cellphone radiation.

A new study investigating the link between brain tumors and cell phone use specifically among young people is a research project currently underway in 13 countries by mobi-kids.

YUBZ EARZ Are Loud and Clear!

YUBZ is making quite a buzz in ears everywhere since launch YUBZ EARZ last month. With a silky smooth design and the latest technology in projecting high quality sound, these buds style headphone are a real treat for ear drums everywhere.

YUBZ EARZ is pioneered with the latest in engineering innovations that utilize Inverted Sound Technology (IST) which reduces the discomfort of unbalanced sound by delivering the pitches, vocals, and bass the way the artist intended it to be heard. Traditional in-ear headphones (also known as Buds), apply common direct bypass design, which means emitting the sound waves from the inner speakers directly to the listeners’ eardrums causing stress on a user’s ears. This can shorten the lifespan of listeners’ eardrums and hearing ability over time.

Staying true to YUBZ motto of assisting busy consumers on the go, every pair of YUBZ EARZ is equipped with a button that allows users to pause/resume their music quickly, and is also used to answer phone calls from iPhones, Blackberrys, and all other major brands on the go, without missing a beat.

Every YUBZ products is designed to be ergonomic and user-friendly, its highest quality backed with a one year warranty. YUBZ EARZ come in gold/ black, or red/black check them out for yourself at www.yubz.com!

Cell Phone Radiation in Mice

After conducting a research at Yale School of Medicine, there is now evidence showing that exposure to cell phone radiation in the womb affects fetal brain development which could also lead to hyperactivity. The study was conducted on mice, and while the results can not be directly used on humans, it's still evident to see how cell phone radiation affects its users. The research conducted showed that adult mice that were exposed to radiation as fetuses were more likely to become hyperactive and anxious, and they also had less memory capacity. The researchers also claim that the behavioral problems found in the mice resembled those of ADHD. The survey also referenced another survey conducted in 2010 in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health which showed a possible link between human prenatal cell phone exposure and childhood behavioral problems. Hopefully after reading these findings and conducting more research, skeptics might finally accept that there is indeed a link between radiation and health.

Big Steps in Health-Hazard Warning Labels on Cell Phones

The Environmental Health Trust (EHT) lauds Israeli Knesset overwhelming passage of a proposed law requiring health-hazard warning labels on cell phones and calls on the U.S. to follow suit. The Israeli labels will read, “Warning – the Health Ministry cautions that heavy use and carrying the device next to the body may increase the risk of cancer, especially among children.” Passed on February 29, the proposal will undergo further legislative review and makes it a criminal offense to advertise cell phones for children. A similar rule was issued in Turkey, following the EHT conference in Istanbul in May 2011.

In France, mobile phones are banned from primary schools, all phones must be supplied with a headset and advertising targeted at children is banned. The government has initiated a safety information programme through its National Institute for Prevention and Health Education.www.lesondesmobiles.fr/.

In Canada, the country’s public health service has issued new guidelines over children’s mobile phone use which include practical advice for under-18s on how to reduce exposure to radiation, including using a headset, texting and not carrying a phone on the body

Authorities in many other nations are taking a variety actions to promote awareness of potential cell phone risks, but all they really need to do is pick up a YUBZ Retro Handset to reduce up to 96% of cell phone radiation!
