The UK will not be floating on clouds this year.

Apple's iCloud, set to launch in the UK later this year will not be launched anymore due it's music storage part set to launch in September in the US. The music storage part is set to launch in the first quarter in 2012. According to articles, negotiations with Apple about ensuring rights in the UK have started but still at an early stage. Music executives in the UK might be waiting to see how sales are affected in the US before they invest in the music storage part of the iCloud. Music executives might also be cautious because the iCloud would only display songs from signed artists. Hopefully the UK will soon join the wagon.
